Project Scope
When completed, the Breton Woods North project will be a multi use development consisting of single family homes, multi-housing, retail, and office space. The project is 2 – 3 miles long. The site was divided by an immense ravine, which is where the Redi-Rock wall was built. All of the utilities, including watermain, electrical, and storm sewer were placed behind the wall, making construction difficult. The utilities restricted the design of the wall in that geogrid placement had to accommodate the utilities. In fact, the storm sewer pipe was big enough for a deer to walk through – 96”.
